Tata Motors has launched its new generation sedan, the Tata Indigo Manza, which it says is built on a new platform.

The Indigo Manza succeeds the Tata Indigo, of which almost 275,000 were sold.

Speaking at the launch, Ratan Tata said: “The Indigo Manza is a modern, contemporary sedan on a new car platform that has the potential to emerge as a class leader.”

Tata says that a completely new body on a new platform houses an all new interior and ‘makes a bold styling statement’.

With a length of over 4.4m, a width of 1.7m, and a wheel base of 2,520mm, the sedan has grown in size and interior space over the Indigo, which will still be sold in India.
