Tata Motors will distribute its trucks through Iveco’s global sales network and Tata dealers will market Iveco’s to-be-launched light commercial vehicles range in the country, the report said.

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding in February to analyse areas where they could cooperate.

The report said that Tata Motors will use Iveco’s sales network in markets like Brazil, Argentina, Russia and other markets where it has no significant presence and will also utilise Iveco’s services network in these markets.

In addition, the Indian automobile company will use Iveco’s engines in its new trucks, expected to launched soon by South Korea-based Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Co, the newspaper said.
