Skoda will launch the Fabia Combi (wagon), Roomster and new versions of the Superb and Laura in India in 2009.
The new Superb will come in the first quarter with the updated Laura following in the middle of the year, a local press report said.
The Fabia Combi will be launched in the second half of 2009 while a company executive said it was possible the Roomster would also make it next year.
“Hundred per cent in the plan is the launch of the Superb successor in the first quarter and Laura successor in the middle of 2009. We will showcase the new Superb in November,” Skoda sales and marketing chief Thomas Kuehl told Hindu Business Line.
“It is difficult to predict the market for Fabia Combi because it is not a preferred body style in the market. We start with the niche,” he said.
