India’s domestic passenger car sales rose 9.8% on year in September, an industry body told Reuters on Friday.
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) said 77,411 passenger cars were sold in the past month compared with 70,507 units in September 2004. Sales of commercial vehicles, such as buses and trucks, rose 14.3% at 31,737 units in September.
