Mitsubishi is expected to launch the Pajero Sport in India in 2016.
The SUV will be available with 2WD and 4WD drivetrain options. It will be powered by a 181PS/430Nm 2.4-litre MIVEC diesel engine with six-speed manual or optional automatic transmission, CarTrade.com reported.
The vehicle will be assembled at local partner Hindustan Motor Finance Corporation’s plant in the state of Tamil Nadu.
