India's heavy industries minister Santosh Mohan Deb has said that Suzuki Motor Corp wants his government to continue as a partner in the country's biggest car maker, Maruti Udyog Ltd.
India’s heavy industries minister Santosh Mohan Deb has said that Suzuki Motor Corp wants his government to continue as a partner in the country’s biggest car maker, Maruti Udyog Ltd.
“They have accepted our offer not to sell our stake (the government’s remaining stake) in Maruti Udyog,” Deb told Reuters, which noted that Maruti is 54.2% owned by Suzuki.
