Michelin Tyres says it has secured ISO 9001:2008 certification for its network of Tyreplus & Michelin Truck Service Centre (MTSC) across India.

With the development, Michelin Tyres says it becomes the largest certified tyre-related services network in India.

“We are committed to India for a longer run – the ISO 9001:2008 certification is a step towards assuring our customers of standardised and quality services across all Tyreplus & MTSC stores in the country,” said Michelin India Tyres managing director, Thom Clark.

“At Michelin, customer service has always been a focus area and this certification is an important step in this direction. This certification will help Michelin increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Tyreplus & MTSCs network through continual improvement in systems and services quality.”

The certification was carried out by international risk management and certification company, Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

Currently, Michelin has a network of 13 MTSCs and 23 Tyreplus outlets across India.
