Maruti Suzuki aims to sell 4,000-5,000 units of its S-Cross per month in India but there are no export plans.
T Hashimoto, executive director and head of marketing and sales, said: “We have set an internal target of selling 4,000 to 5,000 units of S-Cross a month, and capacity can be ramped up or down depending on demand.”

The company launched the SUV at prices ranging from INR880,000 (US$13,797) to INR1.45m, The Economic Times reported.
Maruti does not plan to add automatic or petrol versions to supplement the all-diesel, all-manual launch line. There no plans to export the model which is also built at the Suzuki plant in Hungary from which it is exported widely.
