INDIA: Maruti Suzuki boosts domestic sales 0.3% in fiscal 2013/14
Maruti Suzuki India ended fiscal year 2013-14 with domestic sales of 1,053,689 units, up 0.3% year on year. Exports fell 15.8% to 101,352 units, taking total sales to 1,155,041 units, down 1.4%.

In March 2014 the company sold 102,269 units in India, down 5.2%, and exported 11,081 (down 8%). Total sales for the month were down 5.5% to 113350 units.
During the year, Maruti, the Indian market leader, increased sales outlets by 141, service points by 82, Maruti Mobile Support (mobile workshops) by 831 and used car outlets by 150.
