Talks on joint assembly of the SUV are reportedly underway with several companies.
Mahindra & Mahindra is continuing to research the Russian market.
The Indian company presented the Scorpio SUV at the seventh Moscow International Automobile Exhibition at the end of summer 2002. The vehicle is the latest development from Mahindra & Mahindra and Mahindra & Mahindra invested about $150 million in developing the Scorpio.
