Pickup and utility maker Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is to boost annual
production by 35,000 units to 105,000 at its assembly plant at Nashik in Maharashtra.
M&M is also planning a new paint shop to process 80,000 units annually.
The work will prepare the factory for expected demand when a new range of vehicles
based on M&M’s new Scorpio is introduced.
First versions are due towards the end of the year.
