Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) plans to present a formal offer to acquire Pininfarina by 29 April, a media report said.
The Italian car designer has a shareholder meeting scheduled for 29 April.

Pincar, which holds a 76% stake in Pininfarina, is expected to back Mahindra’s offer, Reuters reported.
Spokesmen for both companies did not comment.
