Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has decided to shift the entire production of the redesigned City to its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, in order to meet rising demand for all models.
Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has decided to shift the entire production of the redesigned City to its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, in order to meet rising demand for all models.
There will be no City production in August. Output will resume in the first week of September.
With the new Mobilio being made at Greater, Honda decided to shift City production to Tapukara to meet strong demand for all models. Tapukara has capacity of 120,000 units a year and is currently running a single shift building the Amaze.
Tapukara is a full manufacturing plant.
