Honda and Ford were the big winners amongst the major players in Indian car sales in November.
Honda, which will launch a new City sedan model in 2014, boosted sales 151% year on year to 9,332 units while Ford volume rose 33% to 7,909.

Maruti Suzuki was market leader as usual but its sales slipped 5.9% to 85,510.
General Motors was the big loser with volume off 14.1% to 6,214.
Hyundai sales fell 3.6% to 33,501.
Two top executives described the market as sluggish.
Hyundai sales and marketing chief Rakesh Srivastava told the Economic Times of India: “After the festival season, the market has been sluggish due to unfavourable macro-economic factors and low market sentiments resulting lower customer enquiries.”
General Motors India’s P Balendran said the market continued to remain sluggish due to unfavourable economic conditions and the company does not expect any improvement in the coming months.
