”Despite sluggish market conditions our sales have been primarily driven by the Chevrolet Spark which has registered all time high sales in October 2008 since its launch,” vice president P Balendran said in a statement.
The company sold 4,390 Sparks last month, 855 of the Tavera utility vehicle and 934 of the Aveo.
The company plans to boost the number of sales dealer to 188 from 145 and service centres to 190 from 148 this year.
