A small fire in one of the heat treatment furnaces at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar powertrain plant had no effect on production, the automaker told just-auto in an emailed statement.
A small fire in one of the heat treatment furnaces at Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar powertrain plant had no effect on production, the automaker told just-auto in an emailed statement.
“The fire was quickly extinguished,” Maruti said. “There was no injury to anyone due to this incident. Also, there was no loss of production. Work in the plant remains normal.”
