Ford India today launched ‘My Ford’, a web-based customer relationship system that offers customers a personalised and secure platform that will manage all aspects of their vehicles.

The Business Standard India said My Ford will have features such as maintenance schedules, service logs, service and insurance renewal alerts, and access to information such as dealer contact details, driving and safety tips and do-it-yourself pointers.


Ford India’s vice-president of marketing, sales and service Randy Shockley, said: “My Ford is currently being rolled out in the Asia-Pacific; and India is among the first few countries where this initiative is being unveiled. The programme has been developed by Ford Information Technology Services India, our software development centre for Asia-Pacific operations. The programme has been customised to suit Indian requirements,” Business Standard India reported.


The newspaper said that Ford Information Technology Services India will also provide IT support for My Ford in other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The programme will soon be rolled out in South Africa and Australia.
