Bosch has announced a ‘INR300 crore’ (US$56.4m) spend for its Nasik plant in India and will add over 400 workers this year.
The increase in investment and staff follows rising diesel injection equipment demand with production of common rail injection systems up 60% and of nozzle holders by 20%. Lower prices of diesel versus petrol have fuelled demand for diesel vehicles in India.
