The company said it would stop making starters and generators at Naganathapura between 10 and 31 January, according to Reuters.


It would also suspend some of operations at a Bangalore plant from 15 to 17 January and switch to a five day week from 19 January till the end of next month.


Bosch would also close its Nashik plant from 19 to 24 January.


Tata Motors is temporarily closing a commercial vehicle plant and Mahindra Forgings is closing a UK casting and machining operation at the end of April.
