Guangzhou Honda is a joint venture between Honda Motor and Hong Kong-based Denway Motors.
In the first five months of 2006 Guangzhou Honda produced 103,349 cars, up 21% on a year earlier.
The joint venture plans to sell 260,000 cars this year, an increase of 13% on 2005.
It sold 102,382 to the end of May.
