The last trading date of Denway, a car making joint venture partner of Honda Motor in China, was 16 August. The company will be delisted on 25 August after a court hearing on 24 August, a company spokeswoman told Reuters today.
Denway obtained approval from shareholders in July for the privatisation, which will pave the way for the listing of Guangzhou Automobile, the country’s sixth-largest carmaker.
Trading in Guangzhou Automobile shares will start on 30 August.
