American Honda, the US subsidiary of Japanese automaker Honda Motor, announced that it sold a total of 108,162 vehicles in the US in February 2026, up by 1.1% year-on-year despite “the impact of major winter storms in the Northeast” of the country during the month. The company said it enjoyed “balanced” sales of SUVs, passenger cars, and electrified models.
Sales under the Honda brand rose by 0.6% to 97,226 units last month, underpinned by record sales of hybrid-electric models and strong demand for SUVs and passenger cars. The company said it sold 30,671 hybrid versions of the CR-V, Accord, and Civic models, along with 515 units of the newly launched Prelude hybrid sports coupe.
