Harman has introduced what it claims to be the first in-vehicle display powered by Samsung’s Neo QLED technology in the new Tata Harrier EV.
This development aims to meet consumer demand for high-quality visual experiences in vehicles, similar to those found in premium televisions and personal devices.
The new 14.53in floating Neo QLED display is designed to provide high-quality visuals in various lighting conditions.
Key features include a cadmium-free Quantum Dot display with intelligent Blue Mini-LED control, which enhances sustainability and energy efficiency while delivering superior visual performance, according to the company.
Harman stated that the display achieves a peak brightness of 1200 nits, offers perfect black levels, and covers a wide 95% NTSC colour gamut, surpassing traditional automotive LCD displays.
Its proprietary real-time visual control algorithms optimise image output to reduce power consumption, making it suitable for electric vehicles.
