Haldex has temporarily appointed Andreas Ekberg as CFO, joining the supplier on by 1 June at the latest.

Ekberg has previously been CFO of Haldex and was succeeded by Åke Bengtsson in the autumn of 2015. Following Bo Annvik’s resignation, Bengtsson was made acting president and CEO.

Haldex is a Sweden-based company, operating worldwide with offices in 18 countries, developing solutions that improve safety, vehicle dynamics and environmental sustainability in the global commercial vehicle industry.

The company maintains it is the world-leading supplier of brake adjusters for drum brakes and has the fastest growing market share for air disc brakes.

Haldex develops and sells brake and air suspension products for heavy vehicles. All major truck and trailer manufacturers in North America and Europe are Haldex customers. Larger customers around the world include Daimler, Freightliner, Hendrikson, Krone, Paccar, SAF Holland, Schmitz Cargobull, Volvo and Yutong as well as a number of distributors in the aftermarket such as Europart, Winkler, Fleet Pride and Napa.
