Grammer has held a topping-out ceremony marking the completion of the building shell in the first construction phase for its new corporate headquarters in Ursensollen.
“On behalf of the entire Grammer team, I would like to thank all those responsible for this project for their commitment and work,” said Grammer CEO, Manfred Pretscher.
“The office buildings and also our new technology centre reflect our company’s innovativeness. Grammer’s executive board and staff are looking forward to moving into the new buildings.”
The new building, which is being constructed on a plot of land measuring around 47,000 square meters, is the largest construction project in Grammer’s history. The company is investing a total of more than EUR40m (US$44.5m) in two construction phases.
The buildings in the first construction phase are expected to be completed at the end of the year, with the executive board and part of the administration staff moving to the new premises. More than 700 Grammer employees will be working at the new site in Ursensollen.
In addition to the corporate headquarters with office space of 22,000 sq m and the technology centre, the Grammer campus in Ursensollen will also comprise a design and ergonomics laboratory as well as a staff restaurant.
