Webasto-Edscha, Webasto’s convertible business unit, has worked closely with Audi to put together a package of innovations for the new soft-top of the latest generation TT Roadster.
A new drive system and a mix of lightweight materials will be available for its soft-top, while radio reception capacity is integrated into the roof system, without an additional antenna on the car body.

Webasto-Edscha maintains this is the first time this technological solution is being used for the Audi TT Roadster.
When the top is closed, an antenna embedded in the insulation provides reception, while the same is guaranteed via the access flaps when the roof is open.
