According to the statistics, 10.5% of all the vehicles sold under the programme were VW Golf or Jetta models. VW unit Skoda’s Fabia was second with a share of 4.3%.
VW’s Polo followed, while two GM Opel models – Corsa and Astra – ranked fourth and fifth with shares of 4.1% and 3.8%, respectively, according to Financial Times Deutschland.
