A production-ready version of the new car, which some industry observers have dubbed ‘the new Scirocco’, recalling a popular previous VW sports coupe model, is expected to be shown at the Geneva motor show in March.
So-called ‘concept’ versions have been displayed at a number of international motor shows this year.
