Volkswagen Group China’s executive vice president, sales and marketing, Weiming Soh, has been named to an additional VW Passenger Cars role running sales activities in Hong Kong, the ASEAN countries and Taiwan, effective 1 August.

The duties associated with this key function will be performed from group headquarters in Wolfsburg as well as his base in Beijing, VW said in a statement. In his expanded role, Soh will report to Christian Klingler, the VW management board member who heads sales and marketing.


Soh joined Volkswagen at the beginning of 2005. He was also in charge of FAW-Sales Company from January 2006 to June 2008.
