The vehicle is available in both estate and sedan body styles, with prices starting from EUR44,250 (US$49,386) and EUR45,250, respectively.

The model is powered by a 156HP 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine mated to a 115HP/400Nm electric motor, Inautonews.com reported.
The total power of 218HP is sent via a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox. The hybrid vehicle has a top speed of 220 km/h, 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.4 seconds and fuel economy of 1.6L/100km.
In all electric mode, the GTE can travel 50km at a top speed of 130km/h.
