Volkswagen Group boosted second quarter 2015 operating profit 4.9% to EUR3.49bn on sales up 9.9% to EUR56.04bn.
Pretax profit was down 16.4% to EUR3.7bn and after tax profit was up 15.9% to EUR2.73bn.
First half revenue rose 10.1% to EUR108.78bn and operating profit rose 10.3% to EUR6.82bn. Pretax profit declined 1.5% to EUR7.66bn and after tax profit also declined to EUR5.66bn from EUR5.72bn.
