Mercedes-Benz sold a record 140,941 vehicles in October, an increase of 11.5% on the same month last year.
The monthly tally helped Mercedes-Benz to a 10-month sales total of 1,336,097 which is also a record and an increase of 12.4% over the first 10 months of 2013.

October sales in Europe were up 9.8% at 60,632 units. In China, sales grew 33.4% to 23,150, another record, while Japan (up 10.6%) and Australia (up 37.8%) also set records.
In the US, October turned out to be the strongest month of the year with sales of 28,593 taking the 10-month total to 261,894, an increase of 6.8%.
