According to Wirtschaftswoche, the car was developed with help from high performance engineering company RUF Automobile.
The electric 911 will be sold as a low volume model costing between EUR150,000 and EUR 180,000. The car weighs 1,910kg, 550kg of which islithium-ion batteries.
According to the report, the car has a top speed of 225km/h and accelerates to 100km/h from rest in under seven seconds.
