Mazda will continue to offer three cab sizes, each with different cargo box lengths – regular cab (room for two); Freestyle cab with centre-opening doors (seating four) and double cab (room for five).
A restyled ‘oblique H’ front end design creates, Mazda said, a bolder, tougher appearance. There are also new headlamps, new rear lamps and a body-colour tailgate handle surround plus a wider choice of exterior colours and combinations, more body colur parts, available dark tinted glass for the rear side and back windows and a new 16-inch alloy wheel design for 4WD models.
Interior changes include new fabrics, colours and lighting, amber dashboard/console lighting and a black leather package is now available for the ‘high grade’models.
Standard equipoment now includes heated door mirrors and an auxiliary jack for MP3 players on the audio system.
The MZR-CD 2.5-litre common-rail turbo diesel with intercooler is carried over, producing 105kW/143ps.
