Wolf-Henning Scheider has been appointed chairman of the Mahle group management board with effect from 1 July, 2015. He will join the group on April 1, initially assuming the role of vice chairman.
Scheider moves from Bosch, where he has taken on increasingly greater responsibilities. In 2010, he was appointed to the management board and since 2013 has had overall responsibility for the automotive technology division.

Heinz Junker, Mahle chairman since 1996, will transfer to the supervisory board and to MABEG, the shareholders’ committee with voting rights, where he will replace the chairman of both committees, Klaus Bleyer, who has been a member of the supervisory board since 1993.
Mahle ranks among the world’s largest automotive suppliers with some 66,000 employees and 150 production locations worldwide. It specialises in engine systems, filtration, electronics/mechatronics, and thermal management sectors.
