Established Fiat-Chrysler supplier Harman has anounced it makes the Uconnect infotainment system in the EMEA markets Jeep Renegade.

The supplier claims the system has increased voice recognition capabilities and more realistic navigation. Entertainment features include DAB (digital radio) tuner, Bluetooth streaming audio and iPod compatibility.

Drivers can make phone calls, give navigation instructions and play music by voice control and entering destinations is said to be a one-shot action, with city, street and building number one natural sequence. 3D terrain, cities and landmarks make navigation more realistic, Harman claims.

Uconnect is also in other 2014 Chrysler and Fiat models including the Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee.
