The German association of spare parts dealers, GVA, has filed a complaint with the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) against BMW, accusing it of binding customers with unfair practices.

Financial Times Deutschland said that, according to GVA, BMW is not giving customers information about the item numbers of spare parts for some models. This makes it impossible for dealers to order and supply replacements. The organisation added that BMW’s actions contravened EU rules.
