Automotive supplier and seating systems manufacturer Grammer is supplying suspended seats for the new generation Mercedes Actros premium trucks.
The redesigned model line went into production in Worth, Germany, at the end of September 2011. Suppliers routinely are prevented from announcing deals like this until several months after a new model line is launched.
All Actros cabs come standard with Grammer’s newly developed MSG 115 suspended seats.
Metal components are made in Haselmuehl, Germany, while seat covers and armrests are produced in southern Europe.
Final assembly is in Tachov, Czech Republic.
