The fourth generation within the Piech and Porsche families is already making claims on posts in the various supervisory boards within the vehicle dynasty, according to German reports.
Financial Times Deutschland, citing business magazine Capital said younger family members plan to succeed Ferdinand Piech, chairman of VW’s supervisory board, and his cousin, and Porsche supervisor, Wolfgang Porsche at a later stage.

“We’re prepared and interested in taking duties in the supervisory boards”, Louise Kiesling, Piech’s niece said. For this purpose, some of them are currently acquiring the necessary expertise.
The fourth family generation also aims to improve the family’s public image. While the older members of the Porsche and Piech families often had conflicts, reported by the press, the young family members enjoy “great solidarity”.
