UK sales in Britain were off 20% to 188,300 vehicles though market share rose 1.9% to 18.2%.
German sales rose 28.6% to 152,400 with market share up 0.8% to 7.5%.
In Spain, Ford sales dipped 47.4% (vs the industry average of 45%) to 43,300 and market share was down 1.2% to 8.8 per cent, though the automaker had cut back sales to rental operators.
