Daimler’s first quarter vehicle sales in Northeast Asia rose 75% year on year to 52,380 units, the company has said.
Mercedes-Benz said earlier the brand’s sales in China and Hong Kong alone rose 78% to 43,990.
Daimler Northeast Asia chairman told a news conference he expected a large increase in sales this year in China but didn’t elaborate, Dow Jones reported.
