Supervisory board chief Manfred Bischoff wants to extend the contract of Daimler CEO and Mercedes-Benz chief Dieter Zetsche when the board holds its first meeting in 2010.
No one on the supervisory board wants Zetsche to depart, Financial Times Deutschland said, citing a weekend Der Spiegel magazine report.
A Daimler spokesman declined to comment.
