BMW plans to sell a 'megacity' car more suited to crowded urban streets than to the open road in response to rising fuel prices and tough new environmental regulations by 2015, CEO Norbert Reithofer said in a magazine interview.
"It'll be a car with a completely new look, with two engines available. One will be a very efficient internal combustion engine and the other will be a purely electric model," he told the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit, a local news agency said.
