The records were set on September 19th in Miramas (Southern France).


“The confirmation of our nine international records by the FIA provides impressive evidence of the performance capacity of BMW hydrogen technology. BMW has written automobile history,” said a spokesman for the automaker.


This one-off record vehicle benefits from the technologies of serial development. In coming years, BMW will sell a 7 series which can be operated on both hydrogen and petrol.
