The BMW group boosted October sales 11.1% year on year to 184,297 vehicles worldwide. In the first 10 months of 2014, sales rose 7% to 1,714,197.
Sales of BMW brand models climbed 10.8% to 155,120 last month, a new high for October. The brand also achieved a new record for the first 10 months of the year with sales up 9.3% to 1,474,632.

So far this year, just under 13,000 i electrified models have been sold this year.
The Mini brand also set an October record with sales up 13.4% to 28,834. Year to date volume reflects the hatchback model change earlier this year with deliveries down 5.3% to 236,363.
Sales and marketing head Ian Robertson said: “We are seeing good sales development across the model range and all sales regions have recorded positive growth in October. This record month means we are well on track to achieve our target of selling more than 2m vehicles by the end of the year.”
