The industry is seeking mostly engineers and qualified workers in order to meet the needs of rising demand from China and the USA.
According to the Adecco index, which analyses the job offers in 40 German print media, the demand for economists and engineers has grown 76% to 427 in the first five months of 2010 against the same period in 2009, Financial Times Deutschland reported.
