Global sales reached 705,300 cars from January to the end of September, down 7.5%, after sales in September alone slipped 6.8% to around 88,600 vehicles, Audi told Reuters.
Rival BMW saw September group vehicle sales edge up 0.7% while Mercedes-Benz Cars division volume fell 7%.
