A Reuters report from the Geneva motor show noted that GM bought 20% of Fiat Auto in 2000, and Fiat has an option to sell GM the rest from 2005.


But GM did not pay into a recapitalisation of the car unit last year, diluting its stake to 10%, and the two companies disagree over the validity of the option, Reuters added.
