Toyota will launch a seven-seater hybrid called the Prius + at Geneva next month as well as a Yaris hybrid, a direct competitor for Honda’s recently launched Jazz hybrid.
The company’s UK unit said the model would be similar to the five-seat Prius V launched in Detroit last month.
UK sales are expected before 2012.
Toyota also said it would soon launch a Yaris hybrid which will be built in France.
