Audi CEO Martin Winterkorn reportedly told journalists at the Geneva Motor Show that he expects the loss-making Spanish unit SEAT to make a profit in the next few years. Both Audi and SEAT are owned by Volkswagen.
According to Reuters, he added that Audi should be able to match its 6% rise in brand vehicle sales forecasted for 2006.
Winterkorn also said he intends to remain CEO of the Audi brand despite press reports that he was aiming for the top job at Volkswagen, reported Reuters.
